Roast Beef & Gravy

Roast Beef & Gravy

1 Roast beef
1 bottle A1 steaks Sauce
1 package french onions soup
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 can small mushrooms

in baking pan place roast beef (either eye roast or chuck roast).

Pour french onion powder over entire roast.

Cover with 1 bottle of A1 or any steak sauce

Pour in 1 cup Worcestershire sauce

Top with mushrooms

Bake for 35-45 minutes at 400 degrees

Ready to serve

Rhubarb Strawberry Jam

Rhubarb Strawberry Jam

10 cups diced rhubarb
3 cups sugar
1 package strawberries Jello

Cut rhubarb in half inch slices.

Stir rhubarb and sugar together. (I found 3 cups to be enough.)

Let stand for 2 to 3 hours. The rhubarb juices will be drawn from the plant to make a liquid for cooking in.

Bring to a full boil, and boil for 5 minutes.

Add jello, stir well.

Pour into clean hot jars, put on seals, rings and tighten down.

Process for 10 minutes in boiling water bath.

Chili Dip

Chili Dip

8 ounces cream cheese
1 can hormel chili no beans
4 ounces shredded cheese

Let cream cheese soften then cover bottom of glass baking dish. Pour in the can of Chili. Top with shredded cheese.

Bake in oven for 10 minutes at 350.

Ready to serve

Andy's Rice Pilaf

Andy's Rice Pilaf

1 can chicken broth
1 can green beans
1 small can mushrooms
2 boneless chicken breasts
1 cup rice
optional salt

Pour 1 cup of rice into skillet

Pour in 1 can chicken broth, and drain the liquid from the rest of the cans.

Cut chicken breast into small cubes and place in skillet.

Pour in Green Beans & Mushrooms

Set skillet to 400 degrees for 15 minutes, or until all water is evaporated.

Salt to taste.

Ready to serve

Ma's Chili

"Ma's Chili"

4 cans kidney beans
1 can tomato paste
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon ketchup
French's chili Mix
6-8 taco bell sauce
1 small onion
1 green pepper

brown ground beef and onion in skillet

Pour 4 cans of kidney beans into large pot. Heat using low flame.

In first can rinse with 1/4 cup water and pour into next can. From last can pour into pot. Repeat this step once

Stir in tomato paste
Stir in 1/2 envelope of French's Chili-o Mix
Stir in teaspoon of ketchup
Stir in 6-8 packets of Taco Bell sauce.
Stir in browned ground beef and onion.
Salt to taste

Simmer over low heat for an hour and a half
